Special General Membership Meeting
Dear Members,
Due to dismal performance in the market in the past year and a half, and the implemation
of the 2006 Pension Protection Act be imposed by the goverment in the next few months,
Local 542 must secure a plan that will firm up our Pension Fund in 2010.
On Saturday, March 20, 2010, Local 542 will hold a Special General Membership Meeting
to address the membership of our options to remedy the situation. Our Funds Actuary AON will
be there to explain the various possibilities to protect and bolster our Pension Fund.
