Building Trades unions, including Local 542, sponsor boxing matches that raise money for A Lift for a Vet. This organization, in conjunction with Elevator Constructors Local 5, installs chair lifts and ramps for injured veterans who need them installed at their homes – at NO COST for the veterans who served our country. The participants in these “Fight Night” competitions are all members of Building Trades unions, and 100% of the proceeds go to A Lift for a Vet. Pictured are the Local 542 members and apprentices who participated in Fight Night. Congratulations to Local 542 member Patrick Sullivan for winning Outstanding Boxer of the Night.
